âDid you shrink my dress?â I accused Jenica as I tugged on the bottom again, trying to pull it down more.
âI may have made a couple alterations,â she admitted with a wide grin. âYou look hot! Stop worrying."
I did look good, but that was beside the point. âIf I bend over, Iâm going to give everyone a show.â
âDonât bend over then,â she replied with a smirk.
I sighed, but with no other clothes to change into, I was stuck. âIâll get you back for this.â
âYou can thank me when those four hotties start to drool over you and beg you to date them. Them and all the other guys in the club.â
I looked at her with an arched brow. âLike you wonât be stealing most of the attention.â Her dress hugged her frame, accentuating her curves even more than usual. She was beautiful, and her wildly colored hair gave her a spunky edge, which guys liked.
She twirled, smiling wide. âIâll work on the rest of the guys there. Maybe Iâll start my own harem of guys.â
I laughed, shaking my head. âYouâre incorrigible.â
âLetâs go,â she said, tugging me out of the hotel bathroom where we were staying. The club was just a block away, so it didnât take us long to arrive.
We flashed our vendor badges and IDs, and the security guard let us in.
The music was loud, pulsing straight into my chest, and the room was almost full.
We headed for the bar first, ordering shots, which we clinked together and then downed quickly.
I spotted Tyler dancing with Lien, and a stab of pain shot through me. I had a feeling our friendship wouldnât last.
âYou look gorgeous,â Sean whispered in my ear.
I turned, and my eyes ran over him, taking him in. He wore slacks, a blue button up shirt with his sleeves rolled up, and a mischievous smile.
He had to know how hot he looked.
âYou clean up well yourself,â I replied, returning his smile.
âDance with me?â he asked, holding out his hand.
Hiding would do me no good. And, if they really did want to date me, that was great.
I set my hand in his, and nodded.
He led me out into the middle of the dancefloor, and I soon found myself envying his dance moves. I had no hope of matching his skill.
âLoosen up,â Devon whispered in my ear behind me. âWeâre here to have fun, remember?â
Sandwiched between the two of them, my body warmed considerably, and not just from the body heat.
Jenica caught my eye across the dance floor, and gave me a wink. I rolled mine in response.
Sean motioned he was getting a drink and disappeared. I turned to face Devon, who was trying to fend off another girl who had started dancing behind him.
Devon met my eyes and I could see the pleading in them, but I opted not to help. Instead, I grabbed Potter, who was dancing nearby, and started moving with him.
He smiled at me, resting his hands on my hips as we danced.
I leaned up to say, âIf you date me, I have two rules.
